Is there a way to stop global warming? I mean global warming is just the are planit getting closer to the sun every year. if not now then soon I hope.

I thought global warming was the Earth getting closer to the sun but it is all the pollution in the are trapping the sun’s heat. Also a interesting fact… Antarctica is gaining ice!!!

I think that global warming is when all air pollution rises to the top of the Earth and that it is starting to melt the ice caps.

I learned from Dr.Olson that people have been burning fossil fuels, causing to much carbon dioxside to go into the air, causing global warming.

Global warming is the earth getting to hot and places like Antarctica are melting. Because of that, the sea level is rising. The air gets hot because it gets polluted by gases such as the gas that comes out of cars. Arctic animal have no place to live. As you can see global warming is a big problem.

After reading a little more about global warming I know that global warming is caused by us. We are burning too much fossil fuels. There are multiple gases that make up a greenhouse gas ,but the most common one is carbon dioxide (CO2). The rays of sun bounce off the Earth and some gets trapped in the atmosphere, like a greenhouse. I also know that if we don’t act about it soon it could cause disasters. Global warming is about climate not weather. Over the past 200 years the Earths climate has risen 1 degree, it dose not seem like a lot but now scientists know the Earths temperature is rising.

Know I know lots of things about global warming. I learned a lot a facts over the weeks. I learned about The greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is when the greenhouse gases trap sunlight into the earth causing the earth to get warmer.
