Climate Change is hurting everyone around the globe! And the only people who want to do something about
it, are the Green Party, I mean yeah Justin Trudeau SAYS he’s going to do something, but does HE mean it?

Hello,I like your text. I’m writing this on a IPad in school. The Negative energy use is Sending CO2 To air. The over heating may make humans extinct. Not Humans only! All the living creatures may be extinct due to us.

The ozone layer or ozone shield like stuff is a region of Earth’s stratosphere (in the atmosphere kind of) that absorbs most of the Sun’s ultraviolet radiation which causes skin cancer. It contains a high concentration of ozone (O3) in relation to other parts of the atmosphere, although still small in relation to other gases in the stratosphere. And now scientists represent the latest status of the ozone layer over the Antarctic, with a focus on the ozone hole that had slowly appeared over the recent years.

We are presently studying about climate change at Cottage Lane Elementary. Isham is wondering how we can stop climate change. Claire asked, “Will we be able to stop climate change before it does too much damage to our planet?” Fiona says that “it will take all of us to stop climate change, but we can’t stop it if other people don’t want to change their habits.” So, how do we convince people to change their ways? Write us back please.

    • Ms. Vega-Cabrera’s Class, I am so impressed! You have such thoughtful questions and concerns. You’re right. We can’t stop Earth’s climate from changing, but if we work together we can help slow it down to lessen some of the bad effects we’ve begun to see, like droughts, and severe weather, and sea level rise. It’s important for kids like you to talk to your families about ways you can reduce air pollution by using less electricity at home (most electric companies make lots of air pollution to create electricity); by recycling glass, metal, paper, and plastic (making it new creates even more air pollution); and by not wasting food.

You can also talk to your school district about their school buses. If they run on diesel fuel, they are creating a lot of air pollution! Perhaps you and your parents can talk them into using more environmentally friendly buses. Good luck! Keep talking to people about your concerns. We want your future to be beautiful and clean!

Sometimes the ozone layer, which lies high up in the atmosphere, shields us from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays that come from the Sun. Unfortunately we punched a hole in it, through the use of gases like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in spray cans and refrigerants, which break down ozone molecules in the upper atmosphere.
