Kids Against Climate Change 
Climate change is very bad. It is giving the kids with asthma a harder time and giving kids allergies. Global warming is the effect of climate change, causing ice to melt. This means that animals who live in a clod habitat will lose their home. This also means that the ice that reflects the suns heat wont be there, making the planet hotter and hotter till there is no ice left. This is all going crazy! Us people need to try our best to drive less cars, trucks, etc, at once. We need to burn less fossil fuels, we must try out best to stop this.

I thought it was a smart thing to say that global warming effects climate change causing ice to melt this means animals that live in a cold will lose there home. I think that is one of the worst things about global warming and it is one of many worst things about global warming.

Coming to school on the bus will reduce the amount of fossil fuels in the air. If we keep on letting out fossil fuels and heating up the planet weather patterns will change and in areas that are really hot they will just keep getting hotter, in areas with a lot of rain they will get even more causing floods. If global warming heats up the ocean then more intense tropical storms will start to happen. So trying to slow down global warming will benefit everyone. If flood water stays in an area for a long time then bugs will start breeding and they can carry disease which can make people sick. Even do something as small as turning off lights when you don’t need them can help. We have to stop polluting now.

Global warming is terrible. It has killed plants, animals, and also people. It has caused hurricanes tornadoes and floods.It is terrible to breath it in and it’s caused by burning coal, having no tree’s, cars, factory’s, and more. Climate change is affecting our future also.

I like how you pointed out what can cause global warming because it can tell what is happening and how what you need to stop. I know that global warming is also causing sea level to rise, which is causing all the floods in different areas.

I also know that since the globe is warming it is causing ice to melt which is causing animals in cold and snowy areas to die because there is not enough ice and snow for them to keep from getting too hot and drowning because all the ice turned into water.

The things i know about global warming is that it extremely bad. For example the reason why global warming is happening is that all the carbon dioxide in the air is trapping all of it in the atmosphere. Also since the industrial revolution 200 years ago scientist believe that’s when global warming started. Dr. Keeling studied the levels of carbon dioxide over 50 years and he noticed the levels of carbon dioxide has increased over such a short amount of time. Over the past 200 years the temperature has risen 1 degree which is a lot because over at least 10,000 years for it to increase that much.

Now I know that since carbon dioxide is in the air it is making the ice melt. Like Antaricta , North pole, and even Greenland. All of these land masses hold tons of ice and when it melts it becomes water. Its going into the ocean and when theres more water in the ocean thenthe sea level rises. Its also bad for the ice to melt because theres ice cores in that ice. Ice cores have little air bubbles and rocks in it from thousands of years ago. Scientists need this so they can see how the earth was milloins of years ago. So you can see ice all over the is in danger. We need to try to stop gobal warming and save the earth. We could lose history that no one has known from millions of years. We must make a change.

I agree with what you said about Earth’s temperature rising 1 degree is a lot because in the Down To Earth Guide To Global Warming it said that “If you put a popsicle in a freezer at 32 degrees, it will stay frozen. But if it rises to 33 degrees it melts.”

Climate Change is an important issue on Earth. Around the globe, people burn fossil fuels to create energy. The Light and Heat from the Sun pass through the atmosphere but with all the carbon dioxide being put in the air, the Light and Heat get trapped in the atmosphere and heat up the Earth. Climate Change could also make animals go extinct. With the Earth warming up too fast, the animals wouldn’t be able to adapt fast enough.

Now I know that Climate Change is also being effected by deforestation, or the act of cutting trees down trees. Smoking and vaping puts smoke into the air. That means more pollution! Deforestation, however, does not pollute the air

Deforestation, however, does not pollute, it just cuts down our oxygen levels. Since trees give out oxygen, and deforestation is happening, less oxygen will be put in the air, which we breathe in oxygen. Trees also absorb CO2, which CO2 is causing Climate Change. CO2 means Carbon Dioxide. Climate Change cannot be stopped, but it can be slowed down. If Climate Change is not being slowed down, icebergs will melt. If icebergs and glaciers melt, sea levels will rise. If sea levels rise, more money will be put into materials for making a barrier. If sea levels keep rising, then there will be flooding. If there’s flooding, there will be a lot of damage. That would cost more money for repairs.

I know that the earth warming up threatens all living things. More people should take initiative and start
acting now, before it is too late. We could slow down climate change a lot easier, yet some people just refuse to do certain things. If a lot more people would help, and put more money into it, we could solve this problem.

I think that all the climate change and global warming around the world is wildly crazy and has to be slown immediately. All the things it´s causing is out of hand. For example the icebergs are melting and that is causing the sea level to rise,witch is causing more flooding,hurricane and other bad storms. Or like how since the storms animals are losing they´re habitats, and without habitats they can die and then go extinct. Animals are also losing they´re habitats from deforestation.( Deforestation is when people or things cut down trees for something.)All these things are outrageous and need to be slowed down.

I now know that a lot of people do not believe climate change. And Animals are dying from global warming and climate change. The icebergs are melting. Were Are The Polar Bears going to live!? forests are dying, were are all those animals like squirrels and birds going to live after there tree dies!? Droughts are happening all over the world. Animals are dying since there water source is drying up. You wouldnt want your home braking. And since the animals are dying and there habitats the food chain is getting messed up!

Climate change has to stop. Climate change is killing animals. Animals are dying because the Earth is getting to warm. We are also polluting way to much. The ice is melting, then the Sun will have nothing to reflect on. The earth will get even warmer than it already is. We are putting so much carbon dioxide into the air, by cars, factory’s,electricity. The more carbon dioxide in the air the hotter the Earth gets.

now I know more about climate change. I now know that trees take carbon dioxide out of the air. As we cut down trees, we have less resourses to take carbon dioxide out of the air. You might be thinking, ” But trees grow back,” well that takes years. Also adding on to the ice melting, sea levels rise when ice melts. Which causes less people to have homes.

Global warming is terrible. Global warming causes ice caps to melt, animals and plants to die off, bad weather, and less ice cores. Ice caps reflect light and heat, so when they melt the heat is absorbed into oceans and land. When heat is absorbed into oceans and land, it makes the overall temperature of the Earth hotter. Animals and plants die off because of climate change because they can’t adapt to the climate. Animals habitats also get destroyed sometimes. For example, animals who live in arctic home is melting. Bad weather is caused too. For example, Hurricane Sandy and all the fires in California. The ice is melting, so glaciologists will make less ice cores, and learn less about the past. In conclusion, global warming truly is horrible.

Now I know that global warming can also cause worse allergies, larger and itchier poison ivy, sea level rise, flooding, more insects, and more bark beetles. When carbon dioxide levels are high, the plants produce more pollen. The heat also makes poison ivy grow for a longer time and get bigger, global warming also make the chemical in poison ivy that is itchy itchier. The ice that melts and runs off into the ocean make the sea level rise. Sea level rise leads to flooding because there is more water. The flooding has water stand still in one place, so insects will use it as a breeding ground. Bark beetles eat trees, and the cold season usually makes them all die, but with global warming, the cold season is shorter so they can stay around longer, and eat more trees.

Thats a good point you made about when iceburgs melt sea levels rise and it can cause flouding. This then means that coastal airias could be easily flouded and that lots of houses will be damaged. This then causes the people who live in coastal arieas will want to move closer inland. Then, lots of people who allready live inland will get angry at the people who just moved there because it will get crouded.
